Sus jornadas duran de doce a quince horas. Las amas de la casa no le permiten ning\u00fan descanso. Las ordenes le salen a chorros por todos lados. Una de ellas hasta la acusa de haberse robado un repollo. Ami vive en un sobrepoblado barrio de chabolas y gana un salario de miseria. Su \u00fanica esperanza es su marido Omar. Pero Omar vive muy, muy lejos en Casamance. Cuando regresa, s\u00f3lo pasan tres d\u00edas juntos.<\/p>\n<p>Ami da luz en el pueblo durante la temporada de lluvias. Ella trabaja en el campo y en la concesi\u00f3n de sus suegros. No gana nada. La vida de Ami parece ser sin esperanza. Es un verdadero callej\u00f3n sin salida. \u00bfEscuchara las palabras de los adivinos como Fatim, la cantante de rap, y Jos\u00e9phine la revolucionaria?<\/p>\n<p>Las empleadas dom\u00e9sticas de origen serer son aproximadamente cincuenta mil en Dakar. La localizaci\u00f3n nos tom\u00f3 tres semanas. El rodaje y el montaje fue hecho en dos per\u00edodos que tomaron dos meses cada uno.
