Virna Molina et Ernesto Ardito<\/span><\/h1>[vc_row_inner columns_gap=”60″ tablet_sm_columns_vertical_gap=”30″][vc_column_inner animation=”fade-in-left” animation_delay=”500″ animation_duration=”fast” tablet_sm_width=”1″][vc_column_text css=””]ERNESTO CARLOS ARDITO, a 29 year old filmmaker from Argentina won the 2001 Grant of the Alter-Cin\u00e9 Foundation for his project entitled \u201cRaymundo\u201d. The eight members of the jury underlined the importance of this project which aims at preserving the memory of people\u2019s resistance through the eyes and works of a filmmaker. The jury also praised the great cinematographic treatment and the deep human quality of this project<\/strong><\/p>\n

PROJECT DESCRIPTION<\/strong><\/p>\n

This documentary tells the story of Raymundo Gleyzer, an Argentinian filmmaker \u201c\u00a0disappeared\u00a0\u201d (assassinated) by the military dictatorship in 1976. Through Raymundo\u2019s life, we follow the story of Latin American revolutionary cinema and the liberation struggles of the 60\u2019s and 70\u2019s. Raymundo was one of the major architects of the new Latin American Cinema, yet after his \u201c\u00a0disappearance\u00a0\u201d, he fell into oblivion. \u201c It is essential \u201d, writes Ernesto Carlos Ardito, \u201c\u00a0that the new generation rediscovers his life and works which are a source of inspiration today more than ever\u00a0\u201d.<\/p>\n

Ernesto Carlos Ardito will direct and produce this feature documentary. It will be co-directed by Virna Molina.
